Just boil Banao Vrat Khichadi with water in cooker

To make vrat khichadi, you will need the following ingredients:
- 1 cup sabudana (tapioca pearls)
- 1 cup diced potatoes
- 1/4 cup peanuts
- 2 cups water
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon green chili (optional)
- 1 teaspoon rock salt or sendha namak
- 2 tablespoons ghee or oil
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro for garnish
Instructions:
- Rinse the sabudana in water and soak it for at least 4 hours or overnight. Drain the excess water.
- Heat ghee or oil in a pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and cook until they start to pop.
- Add the diced potatoes and peanuts to the pan and sautรฉ for a few minutes until they start to soften.
- Add the sabudana, green chili (if using) and rock salt or sendha namak to the pan. Stir to combine.
- Add 2 cups of water and bring the mixture to a boil.
- Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for about 10-15 minutes or until the sabudana is cooked through.
- Once done, turn off the heat and let it sit for a few minutes.
- Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve hot.
