  • 1 cup mixed lentils (such as moong dal, masoor dal, and toor dal)
  • 1 cup rice
  • 2-3 cups water
  • 1 tsp ghee or oil
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • Salt, to taste
